Normal PVC backed anti slip tape will not adhere to metal profiled surfaces due to the tape having a "memory". This basically means the PVC will return to its original flat state. Unlike our other types of anti slip tape, our SS#400 conformable tape has an aluminium backing which enables the tape to conform and adhere to the contours of metal profiled surfaces including chequer plate.
